Maud Texier

Global VP, Datacenters and Industrials, Octopus
Maud leads the development of energy solutions for data centers and industrial customers at Octopus Energy. Her work is focused on delivering integrated power solutions, clean energy supply, and strategic investments in next-generation energy technologies for large-scale infrastructure. Prior to joining Octopus, Maud spent over six years at Google, most recently leading the team responsible for powering Google’s data centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As Google’s former Head of Carbon-Free Energy, she established and executed the global strategy to operate the company entirely on 24/7 carbon-free energy by 2030—a first-of-its-kind commitment for the tech industry. Maud’s extensive background in energy transition also includes serving as Head of Industrial Energy Products for Tesla, where she scaled the B2B Energy business and deployed grid-scale battery systems across 20 global markets. She began her career at Electricite De France (EDF) in the Innovation office, focusing on emerging technologies for the group. Maud holds an MS in Engineering, Energy and Power Systems from Ecole Centrale Paris.
